Usage Features/Tips
cellularPlus wants you to know about some usage features/tips for your wireless phone and usage that might be helpful.
Battery: Keep an eye on your batter level and once it's fully discharged or closed to the end, then only recharge it. Do not overcharge you battery. Consider a car charger (cigarett lighter adapter) for your phone.
Caller ID: Caller ID displays the phone number (and the name, if the caller is saved as a contact in your memory/phone book) of an incoming caller. This feature allows you to screen your calls and answer appropriately.
Call Waiting: Call waiting works the same way as on the landline phone. You will hear a beep, while on a call, should get another call. You simply put the first call on hold and answer the second one.
Etiquette: Please be considerate about your surroundings when using your wireless phone. Keep the noise level down by not being loud on the phone and lowering the ringer volume. Some states have strict laws about cell phone usage, please comply by such laws.
Ringer: Depending upon the model of your wireless phone, you might have several ringer types. You may want to change your ringer type to something more pleasing to you and perhaps a distintive since everybody these days is carring a wireless phone. In the event that you are in a meeting or area where ringer needs to be turned off, you might consider setting the ringer to the vibrate mode.
Voicemail: Voicemail is similar to the answering machine on you landline phone. Calls are transferred to Voicemail, if the phone is turned off or if you don't answer an incoming call. Most phones have a voicemail notification symbol when you have new messages. You can listen to your messages using your wireless phone or from a landline phone.
